This collection consists of photographs and documents that record the history of Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity since in formation in 1969. The initial donation of 30 binders and 3 expandable folders was organized Donald G. Puglio, Historian for Alpha Nu Omega’s Alumni Association.

Papers of Bette Rogge Morse, a University of Dayton alumna and active television personality in Dayton, Ohio. Bette Rogge Morse has hosted several talk shows on local television, including The Bette Rogge Show (WHIO-TV, 1967-1972); Getting Together with Bette Rogge (GTV-19); Culture Scene (DGTV/DATV); and Senior Chronicle (Fox45, 1996). This collection is an accumulation of audiovisual recordings, documents, photographs, and other materials following her long career.

Scope and Contents

This collection looks at the student organization Black Action Through Unity (BATU) from the perspective of the organization. Though the date range of BATU is from 1967 to present, the materials in the collection begin in 1977. The collection includes scrapbooks, student publications, correspondence, conference journal, promotional materials, photographs and audiovisual materials.

This collection contains the congressional and personal papers of former Congressman Charles W. Whalen Jr. (1920-2011) of Ohio's 3rd District, which he served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1966-1979. A former economics professor at the University of Dayton, Whalen was interested in political and economic diplomacy and international economic issues. His papers also reference major political issues of the period, including civil rights and the Vietnam War.
