National Marian Charismatic Conference lectures
Scope and Contents
This collection contains planning documents and audio cassette recordings of sessions presented at the National Marian Charismatic Conference at the University of Dayton in 1979 and 1980. The 1979 conference theme was "The Church, the Charismatics, and Mary." Fr. Harold Cohen, S.J., was the keynote speaker and there were approximately 800 attendees. The second conference held in 1980, also at the University of Dayton. It included talks on the theme "Mary the Woman in the Church."

History of the National Marian Charismatic Conference
The first annual National Marian Charismatic Conference was held at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio on July 13-15, 1979. The conference title was "The Church, the Charismatics, and Mary." Speakers included Catherine de Hueck Doherty, Richard Rohr, O.F.M., Rene Laurentin, Eamon R. Carroll, O. Carm., Louise Rogge, O. Carm., Fredrick Jelly, O.P., Jane Marie Britt, John Britt, Bert Buby, S.M., Most Rev. Joseph McKinney, and Harold Cohen, S.J. The second conference was held July 11-12, 1980, also at the University of Dayton and the theme was "Mary the Woman in the Church."
