The Marian’s Library’s archival records relate to the study of, and devotion to, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Here you can find information about our collections including holy cards, photographs, manuscripts, and other devotional and research materials.

Archival records from the U.S. Catholic Special Collection document Catholic life in the United States and include information about our relics, holy cards, and more.

University Archives and Special Collections chronicle the University of Dayton’s development into a top Catholic and Marianist institution of higher learning. Materials date from 1850, when St. Mary’s Institute was founded as a grammar school for boys, to the present. The archives include records created by University department, records of student organizations, faculty and alumni papers, student theses and dissertations, University publications, and photographs and audiovisual recordings.
